A little sore but not too bad...

I was just thinking the other day... that it's been a long time since I forgot that I have cancer. Remember that one post way back when, when I felt normal... well, it's been a while since normal.

Went to see the plastic surgeon on Monday and he gave me a three week reprieve until my first fill because my chest is still kind of sore and I have just gotten over the pectoral muscle pain (for the most part). I did find out that I have 200 ml in one implant and 180 ml in the other. Interesting. I am not looking forward to when they have to do fills but it will probably be far less scary than I think (as long as I keep my eyes closed!). The good news is that I am now clear to start range of motion exercises for my arms and I can start exercising (my lower body) by the end of the week (which is when I start my chemo so ixnay on that)!

Being back at work has been going fine but my arms and chest have ached a bit from typing on the computer and using my mouse. Add driving back home to it and well... "Doug, can you make dinner please?"

I start chemo on Thursday... will let you all know how it goes.
Just a note... feel free to ask me questions if you want to know anything about this experience. I know some people have been uncomfortable but I am fine talking about any part of this really.

Thanks again for the continued support.
Maureen

  1. Hi auntie Neen,
it was great cuddling with you. Figures you have more use of your arms
after I leave. Oh well. I'm glad the job is going well. Take it easy and bulk up for
my next visit. I'll weigh more.
